Portable AC Condensate Pump

Our condensate pumps are meant specifically for portable AC/Heat Pump units. With hoses and adapters that will make your unit run the way it was supposed to….

Even if you live a relatively dry area and only experience humid days on occasion, you may find it frustrating that a pan in your unit has filled up and caused everything to shut down; this means that the unit you once thought was dependable has now stopped working altogether.

We now have a product that will make your unit so that it can be left in a room without someone constantly monitoring the water level. This situation made it difficult in the past to leave a disabled person or perhaps pets alone with the machine and unable to empty condensate water.

Microscopic growth (in condensate water) is a constant problem for air conditioning and heat pumps. Even after they (microscopic life) live out their life, they die and turn into a dark looking muck that can clog and stain drain lines; this can cause the drain system to back up and cause damage to cooling systems and flooring (under the unit).

Maintaining the drain lines and pump by keeping microscopic growth out of the system is the goal of our Growth Inhibitor. By applying it at regular intervals, you can extend the life of your unit (and drainage system).

Our patent pending method of discharging water to the outside is designed so that water cannot freeze in the discharge line (when in the heat pump mode). We only sell pumps that are ultra-low and can pump water from units that discharge 1 inch from the floor. Thus, our pumps can be used with all units presently being manufactured,

Your unit can be placed at any window with our discharging system, because water that is discharged is pumped out (in such a way) so as to not wet a passerby.

Hoses that come with our units are designed to form a P-trap that never collapses because they are reinforced with steel wiring inside the hose walls; this causes no drop in pressure from the main unit. Thus, top efficiency is maintained in the main unit. Steel wiring inside the P-trap hose insures that the hose will not kink, yet will form a water seal and maintain air pressure.

All parts are durable and made with foresight for long and steady operation.

** The product recived may be a different color and shape than the one in the picture. This is due to the manufacturer and we cannot control this. The specifications and compatability of the pump are the same. It is intended to be hidden behind the portable air conditioner.**

Each kit comes with enough fittings and hoses to fit most variations of the unit’s manufacture (that have changed over the year

With the system proposed here, a connection (hose #1) from the upper reservoir of the unit and the float switch (AC, heat pump, dehumidifier) the lower reservoir of the unit would be connected so as to make all the condensate water flow there, and when the float switch was activated the condensate pump would then pump the water out the window.

The design of the system would also be able to expel water outside a building or residence without water freezing in a hose or piping system between cycles (in the heat pump or dehumidifier mode). As water is pumped out of the condensate pump (hose #4), it will then go to a reduction fitting (used backwards). As the water goes from a small hose to a respectively larger one (through the fitting) the surface tension of the water will no longer keep the water up inside of it (if it is level or aimed down) because the larger hose will always have enough air to never hold water inside it.

This would prevent water from freezing inside the hose when the unit is used in freezing temperatures.
It is important that hose #5 be large enough that it does not have a straw effect (a phenomenon that can be experienced when a straw has liquid in it, and the top is plugged, then a liquid is held up inside of the straw with the assistance of surface tension), otherwise liquid can freeze in it and stop the pump from working.
